IMMEDIACY
Homeless families will come to The House of Options in crisis. Immediately and without a question, we will meet their basic human needs. This will include a nourishing meal, a shower, clean clothes, medical attention, and a clean safe place away from the dangers of the street.

STRUCTURE
Homeless people never know how they will get their next meal or, where they will sleep.The House of Options will provide the stability and structure necessary to build a positive future.
SANCTUARY
Homeless persons are often frightened and mistrustful. Young women and men can only grow when they feel safe and secure. The House of Options will protect them from the perils of the streets, and offer the important sense of security and sanctuary.

OPTIONS
People often feel powerless to control their lives and fall into a self-defeating cycle of failure. The House of Options will foster confidence, encouraging people to believe in themselves and make smart choices for their lives by providing options.
COMMUNICATION
Lying, cheating, and stealing are common survival tools on the street. The House of Options will communicate by example that caring relationships are based on trust, respect, and honesty. Many opportunities for a sense of belonging and the embrace of community will include: weekly peer support groups with topics as diverse as learning how to communicate ones's story.

RECOVERY
The House of Options is striving to provide member driven support recovery programs and services which reduce harm, prevent relapse, and fosters recovery. The professional staff will include peer advocates will provide support and empowerment for people in need to achieve their self determined goals. Persons will be linked to a Peer advocate to receive one-on-one peer attention to achieve recovery and self sustainability.
